The RTM690 is a compact monitor designed for the continuous detection of gamma (and beta) contamination on small items using a conveyor system. This innovative measurement chamber is equipped with gamma plastic scintillation detectors, with the option to include beta detection as well.
Items such as hard hats, tools, or any elongated objects are continuously transported through the measurement chamber on a conveyor belt. If contamination is detected during the measurement process, the conveyor system automatically stops and reverses the belt, allowing for immediate attention and further assessment of the contaminated item.
