The NAIS is a high-efficiency scintillation detector featuring a NaI(Tl) crystal, housed in durable aluminum with an integrated photomultiplier tube, HV power supply, preamplifier, and stabilization electronics. Designed for reliability, the detector is LED temperature-stabilized to prevent peak shifts, ensuring accurate performance in varying environments, including non-air-conditioned and field applications.
It allows for nuclear identification under a wide range of conditions with consistent results. The NAIS also supports quantitative measurements without calibration sources when paired with Mirion’s ISOCS™/LabSOCS™ software.
